The President of the Federated States of Micronesia fully supports the contract between the Federated States of Micronesia and Micronesia Registration Advisors (MRA). MRA assists the Registrar of Corporations by designing programs such as the income tax regime for FSM Major Corporations which encompassed the FSM Captive Insurance Scheme.

The Registrar of Corporations is responsible for promoting, managing and facilitating the formation of major corporations under our Corporate Registry Program and Captive Insurance Domicile and reports directly to the FSM President. We continue to work closely with our long-term partner, Micronesia Registration Advisors, to promote and attract potential major corporations to the FSM. The Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) consists of four states: Chuuk, Kosrae, Pohnpei and Yap.
The FSM:
- Is a stable democratic nation, with independent Judiciary
- Uses US dollar currency and English language
- Has very supportive relations with US and Japan
- Has law firms, accounting firms, and banks
- Has embassies in Japan, the US, the UN, Fiji, and China
- Japan, the US, China and Australia have embassies in the FSM
